Barbara Jean Lehmer

Barbara Jean (Price) Lehmer, 84, passed away Sept. 22, 2025. Survived by her son, Jim Lehmer; grandchildren, Meghann (Jeremy) McLeroy, Morgann Lehmer, Erin, Mel and Gloria Anderson; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Lindsay, Logan and Hannah McLeroy; many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her loving and beloved companion, Bill Wesp.
Preceded in death by her husband, Louis Lehmer; parents, Ralph and Ruth Price; sisters, Helen, Edith and Mary; and brother, Harold.
Barb was born on a farm in Adair County, IA. Lou and Barb (Price) were married in Winterset, IA, on July 10, 1957. They moved to Indianola, IA. In 1960, their son James (Jim) Lehmer was born. In 1968, they moved to Boulder, CO and lived there until 1978, when they moved to Mountain View and then Columbia, MO. In 1991, Lou and Barb moved to Boonville, MO, and in 1998, they moved to Waco, TX. In 2006, they moved to Jefferson City, MO, and then in 2017, they changed scenery again to St. James, MO. In 2022, Lou and Barb decided to follow their son, Jim, back out west and landed in Pueblo, CO.
Barb enjoyed cooking for family and friends, music, movies, reading, travel, her dogs, crafts and quilting.
A private celebration will be at a date and place to be determined.
