Anna Marie Baxter, 95, passed peacefully at home on Tuesday August 22, 2017. Anna Marie was born on September 14, 1921, in Pueblo, Colorado, to Irish Catholic Immigrants Bernard and Mary Baxter. Anna Marie attended St. Leanders grade school as well as Pueblo Catholic High and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. Anna Marie led a very full life and while much of her life was in Pueblo, she spent several years working in San Francisco during World War II, a time she truly cherished. She loved to travel and took many incredible trips including Ireland and the Holy Land. Anna Marie was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brother Bernard Joseph Baxter. Anna Marie is survived by her sister Louise Driscoll as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Anna Marie was very proud of her numerous nieces and nephews. Dan (Sandy) Driscoll, Sheila (Tom) Ripper, Dennis (Mindy) Driscoll, Terry (Anne) Baxter, Tim (Barbara) Baxter, Mary Ann Webb, Katie Baxter-Keohane, Clare (Bill) Kerr, Mike (Dorothy) Baxter, Peggy (Tim) Ritter, Greg (Mandee) Baxter. She will also be missed by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews that referred to her as Annie 'Red.' Special thanks to Visiting Angels for their care of our sister and aunt over the past 22 months allowing her relatives to honor her request to remain at her home. Also special thanks to the outstanding team at Sangre De Cristo Hospice for their incredible care during her finals months of life. A Rosary followed by Mass of the resurrection will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017, at 9:30 a.m., Our Lady of the Meadows, 23 Starling Drive, Pueblo, CO 81005. Please omit food and flowers.     I am grateful I knew Anna Marie for many years. We both belonged to the “Family of Mary”. Anna Marie was a very faithful and commited Marianist Affiliate. What a great Lady and daughter of God!
