  2. I knew Pete for just a couple of years as I transported him to doctors appointments and such as he was recovering from his injuries from working for the train Co. He always was in good spirits and was a pleasure to talk to during our trips in Pueblo and going to Colo Spgs and Denver. On my last time transporting him to therapy he insisted on giving me 5 dollars telling me to go get yourself a cup of coffee. That says a lot right there. I hoped for the best that fateful day thinking he had fallen and needed help, but my worse fears were confirmed as I found Pete that day in his home. So very very sad. I remember him now as a friend, and as he was, friendly and happy. Thank you Pete for being my friend.

  3. On behalf of the class of 87 we give our condolences to family of Pete Montoya. Pete was a great guy and always made me laugh. I’m glad I got to visit with him at our last class reunion. Fly High Pete until we meet again. Your friend … Mari
