My deepest sympathy to the Panion family. I just heard about Kenny’s passing today while having lunch with my Sunset Park teacher friends. Kenny was one of my favorite 2nd graders! I’ll never forget the day I started wearing my glasses and he said “ Mrs. Beltramo, you look so much better without those glasses.” I will never forget that! And he said it in such a sweet way. Well, it worked and I STILL only wear readers and think of him all of the time when the eye doctor suggests maybe I need to get some glasses. I’ll be 76 next month and Kenny is the reason I don’t wear glasses all of the time. What a Sweetheart! My sincere condolences to all of the family. I KNOW he will be missed! God Bless you ALL!
