The year was 1975, Aug. 23rd and my sister Donna had a wedding day, her suiter was Charles Wayt. So as the oldest big brother Charles had to prove himself. Charles was to push Donna all around the church in a wheelbarrow, it was a hot day. He was worthy. We went on a lot of camping trips, fishing and hunting trips. I learned Charles was a great man. What I learned to respect the most is Chuck had this passion deep in his soul. I respected most his mission and desire to make sure “NO VETERAN WENT ALONE AND UNRESPECTED”. Yes Chuck was a hero’s hero. Chuck working hard with the Legionnaire Warriors Bikers group went every place a Veteran was laid to rest. He gave them and their families the Total Respect and honor any Hero was due. He greeted hundreds of motorcycles crossing the USA on bikers on a Honor ride. Chuck was the veteran you could count on. He would always be in front for you. Charles I will miss you, I will always respect you, God Bless you Sailor.
