William Ronald Wahlmeier

William Ronald Wahlmeier, 84 passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026. He was born
August 22, 1941, in Denver, Colorado, to the late George and Lois (McIntyre) Wahlmeier. A 1959
graduate of Central High School, Pueblo, Colorado. Ron married his sweetheart Pearl Irene
Reynolds in 1964. Ron received his Master’s degree in Hospital Administration and spent his
career as a Lab Manager.
Ron was an avid reader. Oh – the Books! His passions included: DemoLay, being a boy scout
leader, rallies with the Porsche Club of America and coaching his three daughters in Softball.
Ron spent a lifetime of being involved in the communities he loved including Poway youth
softball, Pueblo Pachyderm, The College of Syntonics Optometry and the Republican Party.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Robert Wahlmeier; and his son-in-law,
Roger Werner.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Pearl Irene (Reynolds) Wahlmeier; and his daughters,
Michelle Werner, Kristina Wahlmeier and Danielle (Brian) Nicholson. He was a proud
grandfather to Andrew and Steven DeSchneau, Beck and Neva Nicholson and three great
grandchildren, Avani, Taylor and Genevieve. He also leaves behind many family members and
friends.
Ron will be remembered for his dedication to his family and his enthusiasm for learning.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Montgomery & Steward
Funeral Chapel.
