William D. “Bill” York, 92, passed away April 29, 2025.
Survived by his wife of 62 years, Sandra L. York; daughters, Jill Montera, Janet York, Judie Stein, Chris Eagle Horse and Susan Cotterman.
Preceded in death by his father, Lowell York; mother, Sarah York; and sisters, Faye Hutchinson and Mildred Smithills.
Bill was born Nov. 13, 1932, in Pueblo, Colorado. He was the business agent for Iron Workers Local #750. He enjoyed rodeo, off-road racing, silver smithing bits and spurs and raising animals.
Graveside service, 2 p.m. on May 13, 2025, at Pikes Peak National Cemetery in Colorado Springs.

Bill York was my friend. I met him in the gun shop in Pueblo West Co. Bill made beautiful spurs. And liked to buy and sell guns and spurs. Bill and I liked to kind of make fun of Liberals. I will miss him terrible. May He Rest In Peace.
