William Allan Johnson

Celebration of Life:

William Allan Johnson, 93, passed away May 14, 2024. Survived by his wife of 30 years, Rena “Renie” Pendarvis Johnson; son, Ret. Col. A.J. “Tony” (Julie) Johnson; grandchildren, Anthony (Cristina), Luke (Brooklyn), Isaac, Sam (Sara), Maggie (John), Catherine (Hudson), Esther and Joseph; and nine sweet great-grandchildren. Also survived by his beloved pets, Duffy and Daisy. Preceded in death by his siblings, Audrey, June, Don and Ruth. Bill was born on Jan. 14, 1931, in Minot, North Dakota to Gisle and Delina Johnson. He was a 20 year veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean Conflict. After retiring from the Army, the family moved to Pueblo West and he was a salesman for McCulloch Inc. and was also a self-employed building contractor. Bill and Renie also owned the Century One Real Estate franchise in Pueblo West. Bill was a 32nd Degree Mason and was also a member of the Al Kaly Shrine. The family would like to give special thanks to the Bruce McCandless Colorado State Veterans Nursing Home for the excellent care they gave Bill the past five months.
