Virginia Mae Dell, 96, passed away Oct. 17, 2022. Preceded in death by her high school sweetheart of 75 years, Peter Angelo Dell on Oct. 29, 2020; her son, John Peter Dell; and her granddaughter, Ava Lynn Dell. Survived by her children, Michael Angelo Dell, Anthony “Tony” Dell, and Virginia Mae “Ginger” (Douglas) Veltri; grandchildren, Lauren Dell, Matthew John (Brianna) Dell, Angela (Vincent) Malara, Francis (Jami) Blackford, John (Ashley) Blackford, Dell (Rachel) Veltri and Virginia Mae Veltri; great-grandchildren, Anthony John Dell, Nico James Dell, Braeli Blackford, Owen Blackford, Presley Blackford, Dell Veltri, and Audrey Rose Veltri. Virginia was born on March 10, 1926, in Pueblo, Colo. to Gaetano and Clara DiCiacco. She was a lifetime Pueblo resident, a strong woman of faith, and was very involved in a multitude of church and social organizations. Virginia was beloved by her family and friends and was known as the best grandmother by her grandchildren. She loved weekly lunches with her girlfriends, playing bridge, was an avid golfer, exerciser, and poodle lover. Virginia was truly one of a kind. Her memory and legacy will not be forgotten. Funeral Mass, 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, at Shrine of St. Therese Church, 300 Goodnight Ave. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery. Those who desire may make memorials to PAWS for Life, P.O. Box 11208,

A little late but so sorry to hear about this very nice lady. She was quite a girl and lived a great life ! Condolences to the family ! Please carry on her tremendous tradition of loving life ! She definitely had a passion for living as did her husband Peter.
