My prayers and thoughts are with the entire family.
I was saddened to hear in the Valley Courier of Shirley’s passing. This brought back many memories of all the time I spent with the Carter family. I always thought of Shirley as a very sweet lady, she always had an uplifting spirit and was very kind to all. My deepest sympathy to “Daddy Joe”, Margaret, Norma and Michael. Shirley and you are in my thoughts and prayers, Freddy Rivera
Shirley and I go back to Kindergarten at Central Grade. She was my very 1st
school friend, and I visited her many, many times while in Grade School. She is in every photo of my birthday parties. We shared the same home room through 8th grade, she being A for Apple, me being B for Ball. We spoke at length about those days at our 60th Central High reunion planning meeting.
My prayers are for her and with her family. Nancy (Ball) Hale
