Sandra Kay Strah, Dec. 14, 1946 ~ Aug. 3, 2023
It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce that Sandra “Sandy” Strah, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt left this world on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023.
Sandy was born to Mike and Ruth Bosco in Pueblo, Colo. on Dec. 14, 1946, the third of three sisters. She graduated from South High School in 1964. She married Richard Strah in 1966, and was married for 48 years at the time of his death on Sept. 2, 2014.
Sandy devoted her life to the love and care of her husband and her four children. She provided everyone with a listening ear and a voice of reason. She asked for little and gave so much.
Sandy is survived by her children, John (Brandie) Strah, Jerri (David) Warren, Jim (Shauna) Strah and Jeffrey (Lynn) Strah; grandchildren, Joshua Warren, Jillian Warren, Danielle Wheeler-Gillette, Blake Strah and Vince Strah; sisters, Kathleen Wood of Canon City, Colo. and Marie Furney of Newberry Park, Calif.; nieces, Michele Saunders and Marlo Hatfield; and nephew, Michael Jay Furney.
At her request, there will be no viewing or services. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice or the American Cancer Society.

I went to Corwin Junior High and South High school with Sandy. She was married to my cousin Richard. She was a very kind and considerate person. My condolences go out to her family.
John & Jeri, so very sorry. Lots of healing thoughts and hugs sent your way.
