  1. I worked with Dr Laman at SCC for 13 years. He was great with his patients and took care of my father the last few years of his life. I appreciated his straightforward answers and advice. He showed interest in his staff too, and he and Mary Alice made a great team!
Sincere sympathy to Pam and family.

  2. I worked for Dr Laman at Southern Colorado Clinic for 25 years. He was a very caring Dr and friend. I remember he came to see me when I had my daughter and all the nurses were surprised to see him on that ward. I enjoyed when he came on breaks with us and showed interest in the employees. My deepest regards to you and your family. Pam (Servo) Crofts.

  3. Pam, Susan, Amy, and Steve. This is Pat Mara. I’m in Missouri doing some work for two weeks and I’m going to miss Dr. Laman’s celebration of life. I really wish I could be there to see you all. Dr. Laman was a very special man. God bless you, Pat

  4. Sadly I will be out of town on August 10. My heartfelt condolences to Pam and the rest of the family. If it weren’t for Muryl and Carl Bartecchi my career in Pueblo would never have been successful. I will miss him.

  5. Dear Pam, Susan, Amy, Steven, my 12 years at S.C.C.were great, seeing the three of you become teenagers and adults. I house sat during Amy’s? wedding. My first cruise was through the Panama Canal because your father told me how terrific it was to experience the history ( as usual he was right). When I was in RN training at SMC cardiology, my instructor was quizzing me on a medication I didn’t know very well. Dr,Laman came in the med room and
explained all about the medication. I said ” I knew that, I didn’t know you knew that”, the instructor didn’t know what to say, your father kinda smirked and walked away..nice memory…I highly respected your father and you Pam…..Always DeeDee Wright

  6. I owe much to Dr. Laman. As a very green 19 year old nursing graduate, he was so kind to mentor me in cardiology and dysrhythmia detection. He was infinitely patient and kind to me. He very definitely was a stickler for perfection with his patients and many a nurse was called at home and was greeted that an incident report needed to be filled out for the error. This quiet, gentle man had one of the most wicked, dry senses of humor ever. His love for cardiology lives on in all of the students I have mentored over the years. I will miss him. He was one of the greats. My deep sympathy to all of his family.

  7. Dr. Laman was a patient in the dental office I used to work for. I used to clean his teeth and I so enjoyed our visits! He will be missed! My sincere condolences to his family.
