Lois Easter Gingras, 96, passed away on September 12, 2023. Survived by her brother, FD (Mary) Miracle; daughters, Marsha Lepley and Linda (Phil) Farrell; grandchildren, Luke (Ashley) Lepley, Lisa (Armando) De La Cruz, Jacob (Donnette) Lepley, Laura (John) Chavez, and Michael (Jessica) Davenport; great-grandchildren, Brieann Lepley, Caleb Lepley, Tristan Archuleta, Mireya Archuleta, Johnny De La Cruz, Chase De La Cruz, Andrew Robelia, Evan Dunham, Leo Chavez, Isabella Chavez, Emma Davenport, Alice Davenport, and Elliot Davenport; great-great-grandson, Jaxon Lepley; and numerous other family members.
Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles Gingras; daughter, Charlene Gingras; grandson-in-law, Tom Archuleta; great-granddaughter, Destinee Rose Dunham; parents, Eula and Eli Miracle; and siblings, Clyde Miracle, Dorothy Hull, Dewey (Ila Mae) Miracle, Lucille (Ralph) Greiner, Maxine (Bill) Coleman, Foister (Lila) Miracle, Marjorie Miracle, and JP (Mary Lee) Miracle.
Lois was born on May 7, 1927, in Nashville, Tenn., and moved to Colorado as a young girl. She worked at the State Hospital Federal Credit Union and the Villa Pueblo Towers. She loved puzzles, flower gardening, decorating, and baking for Christmas, but most of all, spending time with family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren played hours and hours of games with her. From Chinese Checkers to Go Fish. You never arrived at her house without being met with a full meal and a specially made dessert.
Lois was active in church and was a Sunday School teacher for over 30 years. She also loved her Skeeter dogs and cats.
