My deepest sympathy to the family
I worked with Lena in the summers of 1962,1963,1964 at Midtown Grove Drug, while attending pharmacy school. I was very inexperienced at working retail, but she was very helpful teaching me how to deal with customers (good & bad).
I called her about 2 years ago, and after 40 or 50 years of not seeing each other, we chatted like it had only been a few years,

So sorry to learn of Lena passing. She was a strong influence in our children’s life teaching them to ride horses and look out for them when they were out there riding with friends. She was a calm gentle soul that had a special way with her horses, we were blessed to have had in our life. May you RIP Lena.
