Kirk Katzenmeyer, 54, went to heaven on Oct. 6, 2021, in Colorado Springs, Colo. Born on July 12, 1967, to Glenn and Leona Katzenmeyer in Denver and was the youngest of six children. Kirk grew up in Northglenn and married Ronda in 2003. They moved around Colorado and currently resided in Pueblo. Kirk was a loving husband, supportive and kind step-father and loving Papa to his grandchildren. He was an employee of the Colorado Department of Corrections for over 20 years and was promoted throughout DOC and his career took him across the state from Denver to Sterling to Buena Vista and Canon City. Kirk was currently a housing Lt. at Centennial Correctional Facility. He was an avid Star Trek fan, loved the outdoors, four-wheeling and spending time in the mountains with friends and family. Kirk enjoyed playing golf and his favorite pastime was traveling with his kids and grandkids. Kirk was so loved and respected by his family and friends, was well liked and will surely be missed. May his kindness and gentle spirit be remembered. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 11 a.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Pueblo Christian Center, 1605 S.
