winning which she did ‘til the day she died at Lifecare. She loved watching westerns on T.V. In her

all of her sisters and brothers (8).June was a dedicated Christian and shared the gospel with all she met. Family, friends, strangers. She
loved the Lord and was a great singer. Many years ago she sang on the radio with friends. She knew the
words to every Christian song. At her 100rd birthday party she sang along with the visiting choir.
June was an animal lover. No matter where she lived there were cardboard boxes to house animals.
They always had food, water, and warm covers. In a snowstorm she built a lean-to for a horse. It had a
stable, but when it went outside, she worried it needed protection from the storm.
June was a sweet lover, especially donuts. She loved Coca-Cola.
She worked hard at every job she had. She had several jobs, mostly in retail. At 70 she was up on the
tallest ladder arranging stock in Tuesday Mornings, White Settlement, Alabama. She said no one else
knew how to do it. She and her husband Wallace F. moved around a lot because of his job as a sheet
metal worker. Because of this Wally went to several grade-schools, sometimes at the same one more
than once in a year. Her brother, Ralph was a pastor in California and she helped support his church. She was
great friends with Elaine Wilson. She was close to Ralph’s wife, Juanita. This was Karen Moore’s mom in
GA.
She was saved in 1939. She served the Lord for many, many years, faithfully. June was a giver to, church,
family, friends, and even acquaintances if she saw a need. She was devoted to her family, and a prayer
warrior for them.
Her last years were spent at Lifecare here in Pueblo. She broke her hip at home, and never walked again.
She kept telling the doctor she did not need PT. She loved Lifecare, and never had any complaints about
her care. The employees loved her as well.We will miss June. She had a long life of 100 years. She was
