Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Richard, Joan and Family. We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.

  2. We extend our sincere condolences to Joseph’s entire family. When we lose someone it can cause heartache that can be hard to bear. But in this difficult time may you find strength from our Heavenly Father’s promise that we can be reunited with our loved ones by means of a future resurrection and death will be no more. – John 6:40; Revelation 21:3,4 What a wonderful day this will be! Then 94 years will only be few! May this precious hope that awaits us and your cherished memories of Joseph bring you a measure of comfort now and in the days ahead.

  3. Dear Richard, Joan and family. We are so sorry for your loss. It is never easy to say goodbye to a parent, even though we know he went directly to Heaven to join your Mother, Doris and the rest of the family already there. What a homecoming it must have been! We know first hand the grieving and loss you are feeling now. But in time that grieving will diminish and turn into joy as you experience God’s amazing peace that passeth all understanding. I have so many memories of your dad, like climbing on the roof of the old original building at then First Southern Baptist Church to join so many men of the church in putting on the roof with the likes of Glen Braswell and my father, Marion. We just rolled up our sleeves and gotter done! My wife Sandy and I were later married on June 18, 1961 in that building. We together have so many memories of traveling to Ponderosa Baptist Assembly to enjoy the retreats your father provided there. There is not enough room in this space to list all of our memories…but we’ll surely share them all in Heaven. Sandy and I will not be able to attend his home going service, but we want the whole family to know we are lifting you up in prayer. Love, Mannon and Sandy Lukehart.
