Jerry M. Stice, 90, of Pueblo, Colo., peacefully passed away at his home on September 17, 2023. He is survived by his children, Terry (Judy) Stice, Denise (Doug) Mackay, Kelly (Victoria) Stice, Jerri Lynn (Rick) Ingo;  son-in-law, Bob (Kim) Eikenberg; sisters, Norma (Garnet) Wright, Carol (Robert) Hughes, Gail (Jim) Carpenter; brothers, Phil (Pat) Stice and Ken (Shirley) Stice; sisters-in-law, Becky Stice and Betty Stice; brother-in-law, Charles Hadduck; grandchildren, Sheila (Tyler) Larson, Lisa (Aaron) Hilt, Jason (Stephanie) Eikenberg, Brian Eikenberg, Tony Eikenberg, Derek Johnston, Holly (Brian) Hoff, Kevin Mackay, Ryan (Kristina) Stice, Jennifer (Mark) Nuti, Brice (Devon) Ingo, Kelsey (Dean) Reed; great-grandchildren, Bradyn and Alli Stice, Ashlyn and Reagan Eyden, Dillon and Taylor Eikenberg, Kashley and Wacey Ingo and McCoy Reed, Paul Johnston, Hayes and Tate Ingo and Kennedy Hoff; and companion, Betty Lancaster.

Preceded in death by wife, Jo Ann Stice; parents, Chet and Lois Stice; father and mother-in-law, John and Mary Ann Peterson; daughter, Loy Eikenberg; daughter-in-law, Diana Stice; grandson, Tyler Ingo; siblings, Norman Stice, Jean Hadduck, Barbara Stolz, Sharol Roush, Linda Mead and Bill Stice; brothers-in-law, Merle Rowland, Robert “Chief” Roush, Les Stolz and Don Mead.

Jerry was born to Chet and Lois Stice on June 4, 1933, in Strasburg, CO. He was one of 12 siblings. Jerry graduated from Boone School in Boone, CO, and later moved to Pueblo where he worked and retired from the City of Pueblo as a Supervisor for the Streets Division.

He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing, and the many Stice family camping trips with his children and grandchildren. He spent his young years on the lake waterskiing. Later, he fell in love with horses and rodeo and gained many lifelong friendships. He thoroughly enjoyed traveling with his wife, kids, and grandchildren to ropings and rodeos. He loved to drive his tractor, spend time at the farm in Boone, and work in his yard, he loved to help wherever he could and spend time with his family.

  3. Our prayers are with you 🙏 Jerry and Joann were very important to my Tecklenburg family as well as Brad and I. Brad and I met during roping’s at Jerry’s and he always teased us about it! I got to spend time with him working on the Boone school reunions. He visited my parents before dads passing and mom after dads passing. Always a friend to us all! We love him and Joann.
