Guadalupe 'Lupe' Jimenez, 88, was embraced by God and taken to His dwelling place on May 3, 2018. Waiting for Her in Heaven will be her devoted husband, Ines; and beloved sons, Lenny and JJ. Also greeting her will be her parents, Jose and Amalia; and her siblings, Joe, Dan, Mary and Sue. She is survived by her loving son, Mike (Alla) Jimenez. Lupe was known by everyone as Nana and was blessed with wonderful grandchildren that adored her, Preston (Alex), Christopher, Nicholas, Rada and Arlis. She also was loved and adored by her great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jaden and Tenley; along with her precious great-great granddaughter, Korahlynn; and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. . . Lupe served as a Guardian Angel to many in her life and was loved by many who had the privilege of meeting her. May She Rest In Eternal Peace. Rosary, 9:30 a.m., followed by the Mass, on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 414 W. 11th St., Pueblo. A reception will be held to honor her memory following the Mass. You and Ines and Mike and JJ were my extended family growing up in Pueblo. Your love ❤️ of God expressed on your always smiling face made you loved by so many. I’m sorry we didn’t keep in closer touch but life sometimes gets in the way. My heartfelt condolences Mike, my old friend, and to all your loved ones. Your mom made the best gordita tortillas ever!!
It was a pleasure helping Lupe with her banking needs. She spent many hours in my office sharing memories of her life and family, I will miss her!
Mike, she always made me feel like family and she will be missed by many. Again I’m so sorry, she was special to me as well.
