George “Ted” Alberding, 83, passed away on March 16, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Mary Alberding; children, Elaine and Aaron (Christen) Alberding; granddaughters, Audrey, Caroline, and Tivoli Alberding; sister, Judy Pryor; sister-in-law, Carole Ranck; and brother-in-law, Jim (Bobbie) Petric.

He was preceded in death by his his parents; son, Marty Alberding; and sister, Jan Lyle.

Ted was born to Ivan and Irene Alberding on November 23, 1942, in Pueblo, Colo. He served in the US Air Force for six years as a flight medic during Viet Nam and worked in management and as a safety director with Qwest (Mountain Bell/US West).

Ted loved his little pug dog, Sammie and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and hiking in the Colorado mountains.

Visitation, 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2026, in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel. Rosary followed by memorial Mass, 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Shrine of St. Therese, 300 Goodnight Ave.
