Elsie May Rogers, 84, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2018. Elsie was born July 7, 1933. On June 15, 1951, she married the love of her life, Jimmie F. Rogers. They have called Pueblo home since the late 1950's. She dedicated her life to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Elsie loved to sew, crochet and spend time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by parents; grandma, Kahre; uncle, Chris; siblings; and beloved son, Clarence Dean. She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmie; son, William Rogers; daughters, Kathie Rogers and Vickie (Dan) Johnson; sister, Della (Julio) Verdin; brother, Fred 'Butch' (Flora) Scott; grandchildren, Jimmy (Shoshana) Rogers, Jennifer (Uriah) Criger, Joe (Alex) Ferris, Brandon (Leslie) Ferris, Jason (Amanda) Johnson, Jeremiah (Mary) Johnson, Casey (Brandy) Rogers; great-grandchildren, Cheyene, Levi, Kennedy, Kaydence, Colin, Damien, Nathan, Cayson, Bryson, Addison; and numerous nieces and nephews. We would like to thank the staff at Belmont Lodge and Sangre de Cristo Hospice for all the great care you gave to our mom, grandma and great-grandmother. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. I’m saddened to hear about your passing. I just found out doing a random search while thinking about you…I am your sister Bonnie’s grand-daughter (Gerald & Gayle Wilson’s daughter) and we came by and saw you and Jimmie a few times at your home in Pueblo. I always enjoyed visiting you and Jimmie. Rest in peace and prayers for the family!
My memories of you a so special as a child and adult. You are a very special part of my life. I can always remember being so excited when we got to come visit. There are so many people in heaven waiting to see you. Give them all a hug for me. Aunt Elsie you will be missed greatly. R.I.P. may you never be in pain again.
