Edward Ferdinand Fish, Air Force M/Sgt. (ret), 98, passed away peacefully on Dec. 4, 2018, at the Pavilion at Villa Pueblo in Pueblo, Colo. Ed was a WWII veteran and was a member of that 'Greatest Generation.' Ed was a humble man who lived a good life and didn't ask for much in return. He enjoyed classical music and art and did impressionistic paintings for many years while living independently. Edward loved wearing his WWII Veteran cap and playing his harmonica for the residents and staff whether in his room, in the dining room, or in the hallways. He is survived by his two sons, Dale E. Fish of Pueblo West, Colo., and Donald K. Fish of Douglas, Ariz.
Ed leaves behind five grandchildren, Douglas W. Fish, Brian A. Fish, Samuel Fish, Ezekiel Fish, and Lazarus Fish. He is additionally survived by eight great-grandchildren, Caroline Fish, Benjamin Fish, Kieran Fish, Zackary Fish, Eli Fish, Kaitlin Baumgardner, Kori Nelson, and Josiah Nelson.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Pavilion at Villa Pueblo and Sangre de Cristo Hospice for their loving care and friendship with Ed during his final months and days.
