Dianne Dickson Middelkamp, 88, of Pueblo, Colo., passed away on December 7, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Allyn G. Middelkamp; parents, Harold and Ethel Dickson; brothers, Harold and Donald Dickson; as well as daughters-in-law, Mary Middelkamp, and Carol Middelkamp; and great-granddaughter, Lennyn Raye Maestas.
Survived by sons, Allyn Middelkamp, Robert (Julie) Middelkamp, Tom (Cari) Middelkamp, and Chris McWhirt; grandchildren, Nichole (Cody) Faulkner, Apryl (Nate) Maestas, Bryon Middelkamp, Rebecca (Trevor) Amott, Bob (Amanda) Middelkamp, Michelle (Jeremy) Cosby, Tyler Middelkamp, Cody (Ashley) Middelkamp, Matthew Middelkamp, Michael Middelkamp, Stephanie Thibodaux, TerriAnn (Chris) Brown, and CJ (Ashley) Donley; and great-grandchildren, Makylah and Myleigh Garcia, Shaylee Faulkner, Amberlee and Stephanie Reutter, Jayden Middelkamp, Evan and Henry Amott, Josiah Middelkamp, Payton Maestas, Astrid, Leif, Magni and Sorren Middelkamp, Fynn Moncivaiz, Dayton and Connor Donley.
Dianne was a 1955 graduate of Central High School, and a board member of the Miss Pueblo Pageant, where she judged numerous area pageants, including the Silver Queen. She was an employee of the Pueblo Chieftain for 40 years, a dispatcher at St. Mary Corwin Hospital, and a vital part of the family-owned Middelkamp Ambulance business.
Dianne was born in Boulder on June 28, 1937, lived in Denver, Camp Hale Pando, Canon City, and then moved to Pueblo with her parents and brother. She attended Parkview School, Thatcher, Columbian, Keating, and Central.
Dianne had a smile that would light up a room, was a kind and loving woman who lived for her family, enjoyed her time with her friends, and was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

My sympathy to all of you. Diane was my sister in law and always a great deal of fun. Even though I haven’t seen her since both of us became old, I’ll always remember her for her great laugh and personality. God bless you all.
