David – we will be walking this difficult road with you in prayer after Diana’s Homegoing – as painful as it is, for a believer it is also a sweet, precious time of fellowship with the Lord – we pray that Christ’s Presence will be your comfort, your hope and your strength as He tenderly carries you in His strong arms and heals the pain and sorrow in your heart and in the hearts of your children. May He surprise you with a flood of wonderful, maybe even long-forgotten memories of the gift of Diana’s life and ministry, of your service to Him together, and of His incredible salvation she is now experiencing in all its fullness – the glory of our Savior’s face which Diana is, this very moment, experiencing with delight, and which we have the promise of experiencing one day.
In Christ’s Love,
Mel and Jan
Diana Milner is a saint in my book. She is the most Christian person I know because she dedicated her life to serving others. I wish peace to her family and friends. I am honored to have worked with Diana. She has inspired me to use many simple sources for educational resources. For a small lady Diana has left big shoes for us to fill.
I loved having Diana as a roommate in college. What a hoot it was. We were as different as night and day, but we learned a lot from each other and shared the joys and sorrows (and traumas) of college. We managed to keep at least loosely connected through all these years and always entertained the hope of getting to see each other again. She was a great lady and will be greatly missed.
In the few times I had the privilege of meeting Diana at family gatherings, I know she is now happy and free in Heaven with God. My condolences to the family, with prayers that God will grant them comfort from their sorrow.
