David W. Flood, 29, passed away May 25, 2002 as the result of an automobile accident which occurred on Friday, May 24, 2002. Survived by his wife, Amy; sons, Donovan and Dalton; daughter, Alliyah; mother April (Mark) Isringhausen; father, Ted (Bonnie) Flood; brother, William Russell Dotson, III; mother-in-law, Jan Phannenstiel; grandmothers, Dorothy C. James and Jean (Dennis) Barnum; aunts, Sharon (John) Pisciotta, Susan (Max) Pietropaollo, Cheryl (George Bruno) Wingard, Chris (Jim) Lehman, Carolyn (Paul) Maes, Shelly (Gary) Meyers, Linda (Steve) Antonavich, Patty (Jack) Mayeda; uncles, Jim Wingard and Bob (Carolyn) Flood; nephews, Christopher Shumake and Justin Todisco; numerous cousins, and special
long-time friend, Skip (Corina) Sprouse. Also survived by William Russell Dotson,
Jr., Lyle Ploog and Sam James. Preceded in death by his sister, Charity A. (neé Flood) Carcel; grandfathers, Roy P. James, Donald C. Flood and Harry D. Johnson; and great-grandmother, Gladys James. Born November 16, 1972, in Pueblo, David was a graduate of South High School. Upon graduation, he entered the United States
Army and currently was serving in the Reserve National Guard. He was employed by Dominion Correction Services, L.L.C. and was working at the prison facility in Crowley. David enjoyed playing frisbee golf and riding his bicycle. He was a good friend, always ready to lend a hand whenever needed; and he was proud of his time
in the armed forces and extremely proud of his family whom he loved and cherished greatly. David will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him, worked with him and loved him. He will lie in state at the funeral home today from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. with the family present from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held
at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 30, 2002, at Holy Family Church, 2827 Lakeview. Full military honors and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Those who desire may make memorials for the children's education, % the funeral home.
