  1. CandleImageI’m met Dave when he first started his internship at Parkview Hospital. It was apparent right from the beginning that he would be coming outstanding Lab Specialist Dave was always willing to help if you needed his assistance whether it be fixing a machine or helping you get caught up when it became excessively busy. I remember talking to him about his camping trips and how his dog kept him warm when it was so terribly cold outside. He had a wonderful sense of humor and one looked forward to working with him. He was a kind man. If we got really busy, he would sometimes be the one that was able to go and get us dinner from upstairs. Every time I think of a salad that I’ve added things too I always think of Dave. He was really a sweetheart, and will be sorely missed. My sincerest sympathies to his family. May he rest in eternal peace, and may the white light of Jesus shine upon him now, and always.

  2. CandleImageI never met your husband but wish I had sometime in my life. What a great man he was and it sounds like he touched a lot of souls. May he rest in peace and may his family continue to celebrate his life. Great joy!

  3. CandleImageMy condolences to Dave’s wife and family. I remember him being an easy going guy, working in the chemistry department when I was a student. He was funny and very congenial, and as a part of what made my stint at Parkview a good experience. God bless you Dave, you were a good guy.

  4. CandleImageJudy I will always remember Dave welcoming me to a new school for me at Central Grade School in 5th grade and working on a science project together that was a Volcano that actually erupted,he was always so smart, and kind I’ll miss him, prayers to you, Michael Gregorich.

  5. Judy, I am sending you big hugs from Shorewood, Illinois. Reading all of these wonderful memories of your husband Dave tells me he was a good man. Your friends here at the lab are thinking about you and love you.

  6. CandleImageDave my old friend I will always miss our conversations about music back when we would exchange music. Thank you for introducing me to Tab Benoit! You will be missed by many. I always trusted you knowledge than most doctors.

  7. I loved working with Dave, he knew how to fix anything, he was such an icon in the lab that someone had printed up his picture and its been hanging on our chemistry wall for years. His personal special touches are all over the lab. He was a wiz with troubleshooting QC and calibrations. And he was so full of knowledge about where to go for hiking, fishing, and camping in Colorado, I will greatly miss working with him and talking about his adventures. Judy, I’ve never had a chance to meet you, but I am so sorry. I imagine Dave took excellent care of your home and you never had to pay anyone to fix anything! He will be greatly missed!

  8. CandleImageDave was friend to work with. I had the chance to know him for eighteen years and he was a good person, a good soul. He will be greatly missed.
I send my condolences to the family.

  9. Dave was both a great coworker of 30+ years and a good friend. We shared many good conversations over the years. He loved sharing beautiful photos he had taken and hunting and fishing stories. He loved working on his home. Judy and Ginger were the center of his life.
Dave took pride in his work and shared his knowledge of the analyzers with everyone. It was a standing joke that old parts for the Vitros 5600 were going home so he could build one in his garage.
Tim and I traveled to Slovenia in 2013 and thanks to Dave we spent a wonderful day with his relatives, Rudy, Bojana and their family.
The years I worked with Dave were such a blessing.
Judy, may the memories everyone shares here help you in the days to come. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
    Love, Lori

  10. Dave and I met at the University of Southern Colorado in a Medical Microbiology class 35 years ago and became lifelong friends. My heart is broken at his passing and I will never forget him. Thank you for being part of my life…..

  12. Judy and family,
My sincere condolences for your loss. I have had the absolute pleasure of working with Dave for the last 3 years. He was not only an amazing Medical Laboratory Scientist but an exceptional human being. The void left by his passing will be felt by so many people whose lives he touched.

  13. Hi Judy
We have never met but I worked in the lab with Dave for 27 years. He was an amazing scientist, had a great sense of humor and was a wizard with the instrumentation we have had in the lab over the years. He will be missed by everyone who worked with him.
My deepest condolences for your loss.

  14. CandleImageDave always was the go to person at work. He could fix and solve anything. He also taught with so much knowledge and explained everything so well to the students (many laboratory scientists received the best knowledge from him). We will miss him dearly. Prayers to Judy and all of Daves family.

  15. CandleImageMy dearest friend Judy, know that I love you, and will always be by your side through thick and thin always, always, always. For the short time I knew Dave, I grew to love, and respect him. He was a great man, and husband. He loved you into the heavens. God Bless. I love you!

  16. CandleImageWe remember Dave very fondly – a great guy who I knew from St. Mary’s church to Parkview. A great med tech and great fellow.

  17. CandleImageDave was an exceptional lab specialist. There wasn’t a piece of lab equipment that Dave couldn’t master or repair. I am very grateful for the many years I was able to work with Dave at Parkview.
My thoughts and prayers to Judy and family.

  18. Dave was the most genuine friend you could have. True to the heart and a beautiful spirit. A true nature lover and outdoorsman. I have nothing but good memories of Dave. I know that our creator has him in his hands were all things will be revealed. Peace be with all of the circle of friends Dave has and especially Judy his lifelong soulmate. Im sure there will be pain in the memories mixed with a beautiful joyous feeling from the good times that were shared. He has gone to the happy hunting grounds and fishing waters. Find strength in the love Dave gave. So long for now my dear friend, you will not be forgotten.

  19. Judy,
My thoughts are with you. I worked with Dave for 30 yrs. He was my 3-11 weekend partner. I adored him 💜. He was smart, a hard worker and so funny…
I always knew if I needed anything, Dave would help me out. I like to think he is somewhere right now fishing and drinking with Bob. Rest well my friend.
    Love you Mr Lipitz.

  20. Judy, I am so very sorry for your loss =( I did not know your husband, Dave, and he looks like a kind and gentle soul. May he rest in Paradise. Prayers and strength to you!
