Dale A. Corbin, 74, passed away Dec. 27, 2018, at VA Community Living Center in Pueblo, Colo., after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Dale was born in La Junta, Colo., on Sept. 22, 1944, to Hazel (Shoemaker) and Nelson Corbin, the third of four sons. He attended school in Timpas, Colo., and later transferred to La Junta. Dale is survived by his wife, Jan Eagleton; his special pals, his dogs, Annie, Tye and Barney Fife;; and his horse, JD. He is also survived by his oldest brother, Nelson 'Pete' (Linda); sister-in-law, Maria Corbin; children, Peggy (Lawrence) Romero, Rick (Janet) Corbin, Dale Corbin; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded by his parents; brothers, Lee, and Jesse; and an infant son, Daniel. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Higbee Cemetery with Pastor Rick Miller of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Lunch will be served following the service at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 202 Lincoln, La Junta. In the event of inclement weather, service will be held at the church's parish hall. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Higbee Cemetery, Attn: Mary Ann Allsworth, 9701 Street Highway 109, La Junta, Colo., 81050. It would be appreciated. Higbee Cemetery is approximately 15 miles south of La Junta on Highway 109. Turn right at the sign on the corner of the county road, 1.5 miles.
