Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I also worked for the Colorado Lottery.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

She was a very nice person.

  2. I worked with Carole at the Lottery. She was the Investigator who did my background when I was hired. Boy was she thorough in that background! There are 2 items I see regularly in my home that always make me think of her. One is a little China tea set from the Florida Lottery that we argued over(good naturedly of course) at one of the Security lunches. The second is a blanket with a mountain lion on it that she found in an old dryer she was getting rid of. Said she had no idea who it belonged to so she just thought I might like it. I still use it on a regular basis. I only ran into her a few times after she retired but every time we said we were going to have to get together. Wish I hadn’t put it off. I hope that you all find comfort in your shared memories and know what a wonderful woman she was.

  3. I have missed Carole since she retired from the Colorado Lottery, and will miss her even more now. She was a lady of great integrity, cautious innovation, and well-thought plans. I’m very sorry I will not be able to be there Saturday, as I will be out of town, but my thoughts and prayers will be with her loved ones.

  4. I will miss my dear Auntie Carole. She was such a source of inspiration when I was young. Sending love and sympathy to you, Annie and Julie, and to all who loved her. I’m so sorry that I won’t be able to attend her services but know I’m with you in spirit.

  5. Eddie and I were so shocked and sadden to hear about Carol’s passing. She was a very nice lady and we have good memories of the times we visited with her. Our deepest sympathies to Anne, Julie, Jan and the rest of the family.

  6. Carole was my best friend. We worked together and played together for many years. Jan and Carole were known as “The Colorado Girls” when they came to visit me in Carmel and we introduced ourselves as three sisters.
I will miss her greatly and I offer my deepest sympathy to Jan, Tom, Julie, Ann and all of her other pals. She was one of a kind!

  7. Janet,
I’m so sorry to hear of your sister’s passing. Always hard to lose a sibling.
    My sincere sympathies!

  8. I had the honor of working with Carole on the Colorado District Attorney Investigator’s Association Board. Carole was a strong spirit and an investigator of highest integrity. Carole was a positive influence for all CDAIA members! Thank you Carole, God Bless and rest in peace. Condolences to your family and friends.
