Bonnie Louise (Berger) Finch, was born February 12, 1935, in Grand Rapids, MI; died peacefully at age 90, at her home in Sun City, AZ on August 1, 2025, with members of her family gathered around her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Matilda Berger; her beloved husband of 67 years, Lee K Finch; daughter, LeeAnn Euler and son, William (Bill); brother, Robert Berger. She is survived by daughters, Mary (Gold) of Sun City, AZ, Christine (Coffee) of Pueblo, CO, and son, Michael of Lino Lakes, MN. She will also be greatly missed by many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a myriad of lifelong friends.
From Michigan, Bonnie and Lee moved with their 5 children to Bettendorf, Iowa (1967), then on to Duluth, Minnesota (1974), Pueblo, Colorado (1978) and eventually retired to Sun City, Arizona. Bonnie enjoyed her training and work in Nursing, Clinical Social Work, University Teaching (Univ of So Colo), and Counseling. She co-founded a private practice therapy clinic; and was instrumental in establishing Hospice services in the Pueblo area before her retirement.
The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to those who cared for Bonnie in her later years. The live-in care graciously given to Bonnie, and previously to Lee, by daughter, Mary and son-in-law, Doug, was a gift beyond measure! Thanks to Hospice of the Valley staff for the compassionate care given in the final weeks of her life.
A Celebration of Life for Bonnie L Finch will be privately held by family in Pueblo, CO on September 27th, 2025, followed by interment at Mountain View Cemetery, with her husband Lee forever beside her.
