Yvonne Merrill

Vonnie H. Merrill, born in Monticello, Iowa on May 2, 1934. Died in Pueblo, Colorado on April 28, 2009. She is survived by husband, Richard; and son, Christopher. She is also survived by brothers, James (Pam) Buchanan, Larry Hamilton, Tom (Faye) Hamilton, Don Hamilton, Gene (Judy) Hamilton; sisters, Linda (Roger) Workman, Sandy Conley, Janet (Tom) Botkin; and niece, Lauren Buchanan. Vonnie was a graduate of Western Michigan University with a masters degree in Home Economics. She taught home economics in Michigan, California and New York. A brief memorial service in her honor will be held at Christ the King Church in Sister Joan's room in the Formation Center, at 2 p.m. Friday May 8, 2009.
