Guestbook

  1. Yvonne was such a special friend and special person. She will be sorely missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.

  2. Joe and Becky Leek: Shan and Monte, So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Grandmother Leek once said to me, “God intended for overone to have a mate, and sometimes you’re lucky enough to marry the one he intended for you to have.” I believe Uncle Max and Aunt Yvonne were pretty lucky!

  3. Mom,
Oh! now to be alone, on some grand height,
Where heaven’s black curtains shadow all the sight,
And watch the swollen clouds their bosom clash,
While fleet and far the living lightnings flash…
And see the fiery arrows fall and rise,
In dizzy chase along the rattling skies,—
How stirs the spirit while the echoes roll,
And God, in thunder, rocks from pole to pole!
~Robert Montgomery, The Omnipresence of the Deity, 1828–1831
Remembering the many nights we enjoyed watching lightning storms together!
    Love and miss you! Shan

  4. Mom, true to his word, Dad has watched over you since his spirit soared to heaven in 2009. You are now reunited. Go with God. May you enjoy eternal peace, comfort, joy and love.
