Winifred Waneta Edwards

Winifred W. Edwards, 95, passed away February 23, 2004, in Pueblo, Colorado. Preceded in death by her husband, John J. Edwards on June 29, 1999; and children, John Edwards and Eleanor Edwards. Survived by her children, Phyllis Kelly of Colorado City, Gwen Boyer of Pueblo and Joan Slapper of Greeley, Colo.; daughter-in-law, Lynda Edwards of Littleton, Colo.; grandchildren, Garrick Edwards, Bryan (Tami) Edwards, Kevin (Mary Kay) Kelly and Shannon (Ben) Kelly-Lung; and five great-grandchildren. Winifred was born to Belle and Emerson Lee on June 14, 1908, in Shoals, Indiana. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Reviewers Circle. A private interment at Colorado City Cemetery was held. The memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2004, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Rick Calhoun officiating.
