Winifred B. Van Riper

Winifred B. Van Riper, 84, passed away July 10, 2014. Survived by children, Nadine Pruitt, Michael Marchewitz and Maureen Rose; step-children, Deborah Van Riper, James Marchewitz and Charles Van Riper III; siblings, Marion, Laura, Patricia, Larry, James, and Earl; grandchildren; and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Van Riper, Jr.; and brother, Raymond Bagley. Winifred was born to Winifred Falon and Earl Bagley on February 24, 1930, in Providence, R.I. She was a pharmacy technician and homemaker. Winifred enjoyed gardening, crafts, Scarborough Beach, Providence, R.I., family, friends, Scrabble, Yahtzee and Jeopardy.
