Willie Mae 'Billie' Hopkins, 95, passed away Aug. 21, 2006. Survived by her daughter, Kitty Sue (Darold) Manley of Pueblo; sister, Lil Lantrip of Lake Charles, La.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; nieces; nephews; and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Hopkins, Sr. and son, Joseph H. Hopkins, Jr. Billie was born to Harold and Nettie Blakemore on Oct. 5, 1910, in Oak Ridge, La. Member of First United Methodist Church, PEO Chapter FW and 50 plus year member of Eastern Star. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Rick Calhoun officiating. Inurnment in Sun City, Ariz.
