William R. 'Bill' Stilson, Sr., 81, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 14, 2007. Survived by his wife of 60 years, Maxine Stilson; children, William 'Skip' (Lori) Stilson, Jr. of Pueblo, Craig Stilson of Pueblo and Christina Marie (Lyle) Williams of Alabama; brothers, Denny Stilson of Pueblo and Ralph (Dolores) Stilson, Jr. of Boulder; and numerous grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son, Kirk and daughter, Sandra. Bill was born June 10, 1926, in Pueblo. He served in the U.S. Merchant Marines during WWII and had a career as a loan officer. He was a member of B.P.O. Elks #90 and Eagles Lodge #145. Viewing from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Funeral service, 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. I have not many memories but just enough to look back and smile. Everytime i went to grandmas and pa’s house judge Judy was. He just sat back relaxing watching it like it was sports. 🙂 miss ya all and it hurts i couldnt make it.
