William “Bill” Alexander Miller, 75, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026.
Bill proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, completing one tour of duty during the Vietnam War before returning home to build the life he cherished most. Raising his family. Following his military service, Bill became a rancher and then a successful businessman and owner of the Mighty Burger restaurants, where he became well known throughout the San Luis Valley. His hard work, determination, and friendly spirit made a lasting impression on both his employees and the many customers who became friends over the years.
Bill had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and loved being outside whether it was hunting, fishing, ranching or just cleaning up his yard. He was full of life, he loved to dance and sing, never met a stranger, and was loved by many. His generous heart, infectious laugh, and willingness to lend a helping hand will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Above all else, Bill loved his family.
