William Bennett 'Pampo' Gordon, 75, graduated to eternal presence of the Lord on May 31, 2008. Born May 1, 1933, in Colorado Springs, to William and Cleo Gordon, who preceded him in death, as well as sisters, Nola Williams, Hazel Gordon and Elaine Cole, and former wife, Shirley. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 33 years, Kathleen; sons, Walter Gordon of London, England, Wayne (Kelli) Gordon of Pueblo and Hal (Reina) Gordon of Pueblo. Also survived by his grandchildren, Preston, Breana, Mikala, Beau, Madison, and BrookLynn, who were his great delight. Bill retired as a Chief Petty Officer in the Sea Bees, after a long career with the United States Navy. After his retirement, he taught diesel mechanics at Pueblo Community College. Bill was a member of Trinity Life Center Church and the Pueblo Veteran Seabees Island X-2. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2008, at the Trinity Life Center Church, 36 Merritt Court, with Pastor Rich Conley officiating. Military honors by Pueblo Veterans' Ritual Team and interment will follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
