Willaim Julian 'Bill' Valencia, Sr.

William Julian 'Bill' Valencia, Sr., 90, passed away September 1, 2000, in Pueblo, Colorado. Survived by his wife, Flossie Valencia of the family home; sons, Bill (Phyllis) Valencia, Jr. and Dannie (Patsy) Valencia; daughters, Rosalie (Jim) Martin and Kathleen (Earnest) Conley, all of Pueblo. Also survived by his sister, Frances Blythe of Canon City, Colorado, daughter-in-law, Mary Kay Valencia of Broomfield, Colorado; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Procopio 'Pete' and Rosa Valencia; daughter, Clarabel Patrick; son, Dale Valencia; and sister, Josephine Archuletta. Bill was born August 28, 1910, in Salida, Colorado. He was a retired member of Sheet Metal Workers Local No. 9. In addition to sheet metal work, Bill worked as a plasterer, baker and cook. At his request, there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2000, in the Montgomery Steward Chapel. Interment will follow at the Pioneer Cemetery
