Wendell Miles Elliott, 52, beloved husband, father, 'daddy', special 'Poppy,' brother and friend, passed away on Feb. 25, 2015. He was born to Jack and Catherine (Enright) Elliott (who precede him in death) on Jan. 30, 1963, in Monahans, Texas and grew up in Odessa, Texas Survived by his wife of 27 years, Carol Lynn Elliott; daughter, Karah Beth, who gave him all the love he needed and one of his greatest accomplishments; granddaughter, Hailey Raelynn (his little Rae Rae who brought him joy that was a gift for both of them); his brother, Mike and sister, Connie were his closest friends and allies, always having each other's back and loving unconditionally; numerous nieces and nephews and their children. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 9 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2015, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. He will be laid to rest with his family in Rising Star, Tex. Yes he will be missed. He was a very good family friend in Odessa. Good by to my friend who was like family to me. May God be with his family at this time and give them peace, in the knowledge that he is with God and other family members now. He is no longer in pain and is healthy and young again. We love you .
