  4. To Wanda’s family,
We are so sorry to hear of Wanda’s passing. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. I met Wanda when I came to Pueblo in 2001, she was a nurse at Minnequa, then in the fall of 2008, I had the opportunity to know once again what a caring nurse she truely was, as she was one of my dad’s nurses when he was with hospice (Bill Thurman). God Bless you and keep your precious memories.

    Sincerely,
Lawrence Cowan (former administrator at Minnequa Medicenter)
    Amber Cowan, daughter
Stephan & Sheena Cowan, son & daughter-in-law and grandson “Little Lawrence”

  5. Wanda’s family we are sorry for your loss. Wanda was extreamly inportant to our family as she helped to take care of our son thru Sangre de Cristo Hospice. It was always such a postive experiance when ever she was around. Our thoughts and prayres are with you.

  6. Rick, Brian & Jeremy and family,
When Kristie arrived Friday night, I told her that I had read of Wandas’ transition and that more info would come Sunday. We discussed our memories of early days in Pueblo and I said that she was the only angel that I had ever met. I see that I wasn’t the only one to know that fact. I send Wanda light and love as she speeds to Heaven and that her example remains an inspiration for all of us that are waiting to join her. So sorry for your loss…

  7. All my thoughts and prayers to you and yours at this time. The Journey is just beginning for all. She will always be loved and honored. God wanted his Angel back.Love and prayers,Cheryl and Family

  8. My condolences to RIck and her sons, Jeremy and Brian. I have so many memories of our family visits when we were all so much younger! I know she sits joyously with her mother and father, Alice and Elmore, and her sister, Gail, but it doesn’t lessen our pain or our loss. Know that much love comes your way from Minnesota.
