Walter 'Ed' Sage, 65, of Pueblo West, Colo., passed away on Oct. 5, 2006, after a lengthy illness. He was born on Nov. 11, 1940, in Uravan, Colo. to Juanita J. and Leo L. Sage, Jr. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and brother, L. Eugene Sage. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Lillie Virginia Julien Sage; children, Ricky, Juanita and Jay Sage, Les Telfer and Judy (Phil) Lopez; brothers, Richard (Marilyn) Sage and Robert (Judy) Sage; sister, Vera (Donald) Gordon; grandchildren, Kellia, Nathan, Zach, Brian, Erik, Travis, Josh and Jennifer; great-grandson, Devin; numerous nieces, nephews and foster children. Ed loved fishing, camping and being surrounded by family and friends. The family would sincerely like to thank the people of Sangre de Cristo Hospice for their loving care and generosity. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium.   1. Im very sorry to hear about Ed’s passing. I grew up with his kids Jay, Judy and Les. I remember thinking of Ed and Virgina as seconds parents. My deep sympathy to the entire family.
