W. Elizabeth 'Sue' Cunningham

W. Elizabeth 'Sue'(nee Chasteen) Cunningham, 65, departed this life January 7, 2001. Preceded in death by her husband, Dale Cunningham; son, Kevin Cunningham; parents Wilma & A. B. Chasteen; and her brother, William B. Chasteen. Survived by her daughters, Dana Chasteen-Cunningham of Pueblo, and Erin Cunningham of Golden, Colorado; aunt and uncle, Gundel and Robert Popp; numerous beloved cousins and other family members. She was loved by all who knew her. Born April 11, 1935, in Pueblo and was a lifetime resident. Sue was a life long student attending, McMurray College in Illinois, University of Colorado in Boulder, Pueblo Junior College, as well as University of Southern Colorado. She was a business owner, realtor, real estate investor, and tax preparer. Sue spent her retirement as a pet sitter and volunteer for A.A. R. P., S.E.T., and the I.R.S., as well as preparing taxes for low income and senior citizens. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2001, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel, with Reverend Roger Hupp officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southern Colorado Spay & Neuter Clinic or Sangre de Cristo Hospice, through the funeral home office. The Family will receive friends at the Divine Science Church, 115 E. Routt, following the service.
