Violet B. Vander Kolk, 96, born Nov. 29, 1913, passed away Mar 23, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley W. Vander Kolk. She is survived by her sons, Marvin (Jean) Vander Kolk of Pueblo and Bruce (Donna) Vander Kolk of Springfield, Illinois. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. I remember going pheasant hunting and collecting puff balls at Uncle Wileys and Aunt Vy’s farm. I remember the chickens the rabbits and the electric fence. After the dinner Aunt Vy prepared we would sit in the front room. I always had good memories of my visits.
