Dear Sammy and Kay,
I am so sorry to read about Verla’s passing.
I sure admired your Mom and Dad. I actually loved working for them all those years at the Crossroads, they always treated me good…
When my Husband (Dickie) passed almost 11 years ago, your Mom came over to our house to visit with me, I can still see her walking up the sidewalk with boxes of Donuts, Bless her heart…
She will be missed, God Bless you and your family…(by the way, your daughter Jennifer, who I remember as a baby, and little girl, is my Granddaughter Fawna’s Teacher, such a small world)
I will remember your folks and your family in my prayers……
Remember the good times and great memories, love one another always and stay close.
Love,
Joyce (Gray) Trontel

I met Verla through my Grandmother Thelma Dennis. Mine and my Husband Billy’s thoughts and prayers are with her family today. She will be missed by a lot of people.
