Velma Vansandt , 91, passed away on March 6, 2005, in Castle Rock, Colo. Survived by her children, Jo Glenn, Vella Cannady, Virgil Vansandt, Frances Cernoia, Kenneth Vansandt, Betty McQuay, Marjorie Schooley, James Vansandt, and Brenda Derr; 1 sister, 5 brothers, 24 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Leroy Vansandt in 1966. Velma was born to John and Mary Bohannon on January 18, 1914, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Graveside service will be held 3:30 p.m. today at Mountain View Cemetery in Pueblo(please enter through Beulah Ave. gate) with the Rev. Hal Hartman officiating.
