Velma Ruth Fair

Velma Ruth Fair, 86, youngest daughter of Albert V. and Jesse Douglas was born in Memphis, Missouri June 18, 1915, and departed this life June 3, 2001. Preceded in death by her husband, Adolph D. Fair; a son, Earle A. Fair; brothers, Ferris and Maurice; and sister, Zella. Sadly missed by her children, Shannon (Nancy) Fair, Fred (Kay) Fair and Merle (Deborah) Fair; grandchildren, Brent, Douglas (Claudine), Gregory (Nadine), Jeffrey (Sheree), Donald (Tonya), Christian (Brittney), Katie (Curtis), Diedra (Rob) Donna Jo (Kevin) Brian, Christopher and Andrew; 12 great- grandchildren; numerous relatives and card playing friends; and special neighbors, Mary, Ray, Carol and Julie. A resident of Pueblo since age 5, Velma lived in her 1st home for 62 years. She loved her family, her church, her friends and her neighbors. At Velma's request, cremation at Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. There will be a private family service on Wednesday, June 6, 2001, where friends and family will be greeted at 21 Stanford from 4 until 7 p.m. to celebrate her life. Please omit food and flowers and make contributions to the Park Hill Baptist Church Building Fund in Velma's memory.
