Valeta Marie Hain

Our beloved sister and aunt, Valeta Marie Hain, 96, went to her home in Heaven on Tuesday, May 5, 2004. Valeta was born March 15, 1908 in Hastings, Nebraska and has lived in Colorado City, Colorado since 1972. She is preceded in death by her husband, Les Hain; her parents, Henry and Marie Bauer; brothers, Joe, Herbert, Roland, Woland and Henry; sisters, Irene and Mildred. Valeta is survived by her sister, Katherine Jones, and a number of nieces and nephews, along with their children. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 8th, and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 9th, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 10, 2004, at the Greenhorn Valley Baptist Church, 1965 Grand Vista, Rye, Colorado, with Pastor Paul Clayton and Pastor ChristaLee Roggen officiating. Interment will follow at the Brookside Cemetery in Rye. Memorials may be presented for missions to purchase Bibles or to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice in Pueblo.
