Travis Lee Griffin, 39, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 23, 2020. Travis was born on Aug. 31, 1980. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Barbara Burgess; aunt, Valerie Burgess; uncle, Tom Burgess, Jr.; grandfather, Hoit Sherman Griffin; and half brother, Kenneth James Beal. Travis is survived by his parents, Sherman Lee and Karen Griffin; sister, Tara Leigh (Vince) Lopez; his two adoring nieces, Aria and Elena; his grandmother, Neoma Griffin; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He graduated from CSU-Pueblo in 2018 with a BS in Computer Information Systems and was currently employed by Golden Gate Manor Transportation. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium.   1. I’m so sorry this has happened to Travis. I worked with him at CSU Pueblo. He was such a good guy, always laughing and joking, and full of interesting stories and knowledge. I consider him a friend and he will be missed.

    Travis was my roommate sophomore year at Maur Hill high school. We both had the same taste in music and always used to get in trouble for playing it loud. May his soul rest in peace and may his family overcome this tragic loss, Amen 😔

Thanks for always making really good green chili and Pueblo chili with olive oil. I will always remember the jalapeno eating contest between you and Mike. It was the peppers that Steph picked and they were super duper hot. You guys eating the Vietnamese peppers and both of you guys saying it wasn’t hot. Mom and Dad said thanks for everything and helping them get down here to San Antonio.

  12. My wife (rests in peace with Travis now) and I knew Travis during his schooling we studied together, hung out, played games, built computers, he was one if my best friends and I will always remember all the good times we had.

  14. Travis was a great and funny guy. Even years after I moved away he’d check in on me occasionally. That’s the kind of friend he was. I’m so sorry to hear of his death. My condolences to you and all who knew and loved him.

    • He was like an uncle to me. We just went to the movies two months ago to watch The lion King 3D. He loved to go to the movies with me and my family save a spot in heaven’s movies for us. I’m sorry to his family for their loss he was an amazing man and friend.
