Tomasita (Tomi) Garcia, 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on February 9, 2016. Tomasita was born in Las Vegas, NM on September 18, 1923 to Mary Lopez and Pete Martinez.
She was preceded in death by her Mother and Step-Father, Mary and Ben Lopez, Husband, Lupe Garcia, Son, Bobert Garcia. She is survived by nine children: Mary Kathryn Davis, James (Jan) Garcia, Elizabeth Martin, Cynthia (Dan) Brooks, Rose Garcia, Elaine (Mark) Kelly, Susan DeHerrera, Virginia (Michael) Salazar, Eloise (Ed) Vigil, and siblings Art (Margaret) Lucero, Dorothy Iman, Rachel (Phil) Trujillo, Marylouise Tate, Frank Lopez, Ercelia Hernandez, and Rosita (Blue) Lopez, 39 Grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren, and many, nieces and nephews.
Viewing and Rosary service on Saturday, February 13, 2016, 4:00 PM, at Montgomery & Steward Funeral Home, 1317 North Main St., Pueblo, CO 81003. Celebration of her life on Monday, February 15, 2016: Viewing 9:30 AM; Mass, 10:00 AM at The Cathedral of Sacred Heart, 414 W. 11th St., 81004. Burial to follow at Imperial Gardens, 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, 81005
My Dearest Garcia Family, my thoughts, my prayers, my tears, my hugs & my love go out to you all for your Amazing Mother, Grandmother, Sister & Friend -� Everytime I think of her I see her Beautiful & Glowing Smile!
