Thomas Wayne Olson, 73, passed away Jan. 26, 2020. Survived by wife, Marilyn Olson; daughters, Annette (Rick) Hartman and Angela Olson; and grandchildren, Ricky Hartman and Raelyn Hartman. Preceded in death by parents; and granddaughter, Maryanne Hartman. Tom was born to William T. and Ann (Backer) Olson on Sept. 13, 1946, in Denver, Colo. He served in the U.S. Air Force, worked for the State of Colorado and enjoyed attending all his daughter’s and grandchildren’s activities and pleasure horseback riding. Tom was a member of the Rye/Colorado City Saddle Club and Pueblo West Horseman’s Association. Viewing, 10 a.m. to Noon, Saturday Feb. 1, 2020, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel followed by burial, 1 p.m. at the Colorado City Cemetery.   1. Marilyn and family, we were so very sorry and sad to hear that Tom passed away. He always seemed so full of life that it doesnt seem possible he is gone. We have many happy memories of you and Tom in the Tall Club as well as when we took the Cumbres and Toltec steam engine ride together. Blessings to you and your family.

    I did enjoy talking to Tom about his horses and the Rye Saddle Club and his trips to Florida
